Vandehey, Maynard (22 Oct. 1910 - 2 Apr. 1976)
WISCONSIN RAPIDS - Rites were at 11 a.m. today at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church here for Maynard Vandehey, 65, of 720 Airport Ave., Wisconsin Rapids. He was pronounced dead of an apparent heart attack upon arrival at Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids at 1:30 p.m. Friday.
The Rev. Carl Dockendorff, pastor, officiated. Internment was in Plover Community Cemetery.
Mr. Vandehey was born Oct. 22, 1910, in Loyal and married the former Margaret Derby on Sept. 20, 1932, in Marshfield. She survives.
He retired in 1973 as a foreman at Consoweld Corp. after working there about 30 years. He had served as alderman in the 18th Ward for two years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Robert Manz, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Darrell Scherwinski, Plover; a son, Gerald, Manitowoc; two brothers, Harold, Riverside, Calif., and Lawrence, Downey, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Neibauer, Wisconsin Rapids, Sister M.
