Greeler, Frank (Veteran Beekeeper - 1949)

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Greeler attended the 71st annual Wisconsin Beekeepers Association convention in Chippewa Falls last weekend. At the convention Mr. Greeler was placed on the honor roll as being the oldest beekeeper attending the convention. He is 79 and has been in the bee business for 67 years. He has been bee inspector for the past 20 years in Clark, Jackson, Eau Claire, Wood and Marathon counties. In Clark County there are 205 active beekeepers and 1,691 colonies of bees, which have been free of disease for the past two years.
