Shew, Eva M. (28 March 1873 - 25 November 1949)
Mrs. Eva Shew, who lived for many years on South Court Street, died at 10 p.m. on Friday, November 25, 1949, at the Clark County Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Georgas Funeral Home, with burial in the Neillsville City Cemetery, Rev. Virgil Nulton officiating.
She was born on March 28, 1873, to George and Etta Redmond in the Town of York. She spent her entire life in Clark County. On February 2, 1897, she was married to Adrian Shew at Minoqua, Wis.
She is survived by two children, Mrs. (Ethlyn) Harry Fladstol of Sparta, and Cyril A. Shew of Milwaukee; also two grandchildren, and two brothers, Leo Redmond of Racine, and Walter Redmond of San Francisco, Ca. Her husband died in 1936.
Pallbearers at the funeral of Mrs. Eva Shew were: Louis Bradbury, Harry Wasserberger, James Musil, George Zimmerman, Al Devos and Herbert Smith.
Persons from out of town attending the rites were: Mr. and Mrs. Harry Fladstol and Mrs. C. H. Tourvill, all of Sparta, and Mr. and Mrs. Cyril Shew of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
