Elmer Elsworth Edwards died in the family home at 12:30 on April 1, 1947, at the age of 76 years and 26 days.

In the year of 1906 he was united in marriage with Lulu Gulso. To this union were born seven children, one dying in infancy.

He was baptized and became a member of the Copeland Christian Church in 1909, of which he served as deacon until moving to Wisconsin.

In the year of 1920 he purchased the Elstrom farm near Atwood and moved his family there in March of the same year, where he resided until the time of his death.

He leaves to mourn in passing, his beloved wife and six children, Hershel of Stevens Point, Mrs. Louella Molle of Unity, Louis of Neillsville, Mrs. Mary Louise Hardrath of Unity, George and Dorthaleen at home, six children, one sister, Mrs. Laura Snyder of Houston, Texas, one brother, Frank, of Springfield, Ill. Also a host of relatives and friends.
