Miss Elaine Kademan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kademan of Curtiss, and Pvt. Marvin W. Seefluth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Seefluth of Loyal, were united in marriage Friday, July 16, at a ceremony performed in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran parsonage at Curtiss, the Rev. M. C. Goetsch reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kademan.
The bride was attired in a becoming gown of white satin, trimmed with pearls, with train and long lace trimmed veil. Her bouquet consisted of carnations and roses. Mrs. Kademan wore a dress of blue satin, with veil to match, and her bouquet also consisted of carnations and roses.
At 7 o’clock dinner was served to immediate members of the families at the home of the bride’s parents.
The couple entertained friends and relatives at a dance at Wiedenhoeft’s hall, near Colby, in the evening.
The groom is stationed with the U.S. army at Camp Forest, Tenn., and returned to camp Wednesday, July 21. The bride is employed at Greech’s beauty shop in Owen and will continue to work there.
