Redwine, Fred (4 MAR 1878 - 5 SEP 1943)
Funeral services were conducted at the Perkinstown church at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon for Fred Redwine, 65, who died in his sleep at his home in that village Sunday morning as a result of a heart ailment.
The body lay in state at the Pflughoeft and Hartwig funeral home in Medford until the time of the rites, which were conducted by the Rev. L. K. Urlaub. Burial took place in the Perkinstown cemetery.
Mr. Redwine was born at Greenwood on Mar. 4, 1878, and was married to Sarah Fox on Nov. 12, 1900 at Perkinstown. He had spent his entire adult life at Perkinstown.
Surviving besides his wife, are three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Hazel) Miller of Muskego and Mrs. Harry (Alvina) Merk and Mrs. Julian (Mary) Merk of Wisconsin Rapids; three grandchildren; two brothers, George of Perkinstown and William of Kansas City, Mo., and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Beckford of Perkinstown and Ruby Mason of Kansas City. A son Sherman died at the age of eight.
Mr. Redwine was well-known in the town of Beaver, as he and his parents at one time lived in this community. The bereaved family has the sympathy of friends and relatives.
