OWEN -- Maxine H. Potocnik, 94, of Owen died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at the Clark County Health Care Center, Owen.

Arrangements are pending.

Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.

OWEN -- Maxine H. Potocnik, 94, of Owen died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at the Clark County Health Care Center Owen.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in the town of Hixon.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Maxine was born May 28, 1914, in Cheyenne, Wyo., to Henry and Anna (Andersen) Pawson. She was united in marriage to Joseph Potocnik on April 25, 1933. The couple farmed in the Owen area. In addition to farming, Maxine also worked at Master Package in Owen. Joseph preceded her in death.

Maxine is survived by her children, Doris Neumann, Beaver Dam, Mary (Wayne) Schmidt, Tucson, Ariz., James (Carol) Potocnik, Owen, Jeffery (Kathy) Potocnik, Hayward; 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
