Goessl, Ethel #2 (16 JUL 1947)
Miss Ethel Goessl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Goessl, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Roy Gutenberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Gutenberger, Colby, Wednesday, July 16, 1947, at 9 a.m. in St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, Wis. The Rev. Joseph Seeboth, Stetsonville, united the couple.
Miss Eileen Gutenberger, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and Mrs. John A. Kopfhamer, sister of the bride, was a bridesmaid. Both were dressed in white ninon gowns, styled with sweetheart necklines and full skirts. Both had corsages of white roses, pink carnations, and blue larkspur.
Theodore Goessl, brother of the bride, was best man, and John A. Kopfhamer, brother-in-law of the bride, was groomsman.
For the occasion the bride chose a white rayon marquisette gown with long train, and a fingertip veil caught to a beaded tiara. She carried a bouquet of white roses, pink carnations and blue larkspur.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Gutenberger will spend their honeymoon in northern Wisconsin and upper Michigan. They will be at home on the farm of Earl Butler, where the groom is employed.
