Mrs. Mary Proctor passed away at her home at nine-thirty last Saturday morning, July 26, 1947, after an illness of six months.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the Griebenow Funeral Home (Owen, Wisconsin) with Rev. Matthews officiating. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery.
Pallbearers at the service were: John Parker, Charles Schmocker, Bert Morley, Gus Braun, Harry Craig and Ben Bruchert.
Mary Proctor was born Jan. 6, 1879 in the Town of Sherman, Clark Co., Wis.
Mary Proctor, nee Kissinger, was untied in marriage to Hiram Proctor in June 1906. They lived their entire married life in Clark County, first on various farms in the vicinity of Spencer, Loyal and Withee, then moving to Owen, where they have resided for the past 27 years.
Her husband, Hiram, and one infant son preceded her in death. Surviving are three children, two daughters, Gladys of Minneapolis, Margaret of St. Paul, and one son, Forrest of Oshkosh. One brother, Phillip Kissinger of Loyal, three grandchildren and numerous friends.
