Ellenbecker, Joyce Anne (Marriage - 28 August
1970)
Miss Joyce Anne Ellenbecker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Ellenbecker of Rt. 1 Dorchester, was united in marriage to Arlyn John Ampe, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ampe, Sr., of Rt. 1 Loyal, Friday, in ceremonies at St.
Louis Catholic Church in Dorchester. The Rev. Gerald Schuh performed the
double-ring ceremony in the presence of 120 guests.
The bride wore an
A-line floor-length gown with an empire bodice and dress made of sheer nylon
organza with a lace paneled front. She carried pink roses and yellow carnations
with streamers as she was escorted to the altar by her parents.
Diane
Wanke of Kewaskum was maid-of-honor. Marlene Ampe of Loyal and Mrs. Paul Ampe,
Jr., of Kenosha, were bridesmaids. They wore floor-length, empire style dotted
Swiss gowns of blue and white and carried colonial-style bouquets of assorted
flowers.
Dennis Engevold of Spence was bestman. David Ellenbecker of
Dorchester and Paul Ampe, Jr., of Kenosha, were groomsmen. Michael Wanke of
Kewaskum and Ray Wehe of Loyal were ushers.
A reception was held at
Memorial Hall in Dorchester, with 120 guests attending.
The bride
graduated from Colby high School in 1970 and the groom graduated from Loyal High
School in 1969 and attended Eau Claire vocational institute. They will make
their home at 428 Dover, Chippewa Falls.
