Harold H. Steidinger, age 80, died Wednesday, September 4,
2013.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at
St. Peter Lutheran Church, town of Hamburg. Rev. Philip Bogen will officiate.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from 4:00
p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon, and again on
Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church.

Harold H. Steidinger,
age 80, died Wednesday, September 4, 2013.
He was born December 22, 1932
in town of Rib Falls, son of the late Walter and Dora (Hoffman) Steidinger. In
1954 he married Marcella Wendt at St. Peter Lutheran Church, town of Hamburg.
She survives.
Harold owned and operated a dairy farm and had also farmed
ginseng. Besides farming, he also worked for Ted Stencil Sawmill followed by 17
years working at Kolbe Brothers and Kolbe and Kolbe, Wausau. In his younger
years he enjoyed going to dances with his wife, Marcella. He also enjoyed polka
music, traveling, driving his John Deere tractor and especially spending time
with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Marcella, town of
Hamburg; children, Mark (Brenda) Steidinger, Bruce Steidinger (Kelly Soczka),
both of town of Hamburg and Joy (Mark) Cochart, Hatley; grandchildren, Joshua
Steidinger, Jeremiah and Amanda Steidinger, Dylan and Nathan Cochart; sister,
Irene Borchardt, town of Hamburg, other relatives and friends.
He was
preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m.
