Francis Haugh, Menomonie, has been appointed to fill a Marketing Specialist position in the Markets Division, it was announced this week by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture.
Haugh, a native of River Falls, received his Bachelor of Science Degree from River Falls State College. He was granted a Masters Degree in Agricultural Education from the University of Minnesota in 1949. For the past ten years he has been teaching at the Dunn County School of Agriculture, serving as superintendent for the last six years.
Married and the father of three children, Haugh also served in the Navy during World War II.
In his new duties, Mr. Haugh will handle fruit and vegetable marketing service and promotion working with representatives of the fruit and vegetable industry of the state.
