Miss Grace Schulz Was Kept Busy While in College

Miss Grace Schulz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernst W. Schulz, Route 1, Colby, will receive a bachelor of science degree from the division of intermediate-upper elementary education at Central State college, Stevens Point, at the June 6 commencement exercises. Miss Schulz, who will teach fourth grade in Appleton this fall, was a member of Round Table, a professional organization; Gamma Delta; Lutheran religious group (treasurer); College band (soloist); Swing band; Mixed choir (soprano soloist); Girl’s Glee Club (president); Triple trio; Pointer (college newspaper) staff; Edelweiss Club (German club); and Alpha Kappa Rho, honorary music fraternity. She minored in music.

Miss Schulz was named to the Dean’s Honor List at the annual Award Day program at Central State college May 20. To be named to this list, a student must maintain a two point (based on the old three point system) scholastic average as well as be active in extracurricular activities.
