Leahy, Marcella (Keller) (January 21, 1929 - October 13, 2008)

Marcella Leahy, 79, Chippewa Falls, town of Eagle Point, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 21, 1929, in Colby, the daughter of Ambrose and Freida (Doege) Keller. She married Philip J. Leahy in 1958.

She worked as a secretary for the county hospital for many years.

She is survived by five children, Terry (Susan) Schilling of Abbotsford, Steven (Patty) of Bloomer, Brenda (Steve) Gustum of Sand Creek, Scott (Susan) and Tod (Lisa) both of Chippewa Falls; three sisters, Eileen Keller of Dorchester, Geraldine Walkowiak of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Joan (John) Dettmering of Rapids City, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip; and her parents.

Funeral services were held Oct. 16 at the Chippewa Valley Bible Church. Pastor James Woldhuis presided.

Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls, was in charge of arrangements.
