Wm Barrett returned home from Butternut Thursday.

Thomas Murphy has moved with his family here from Butternut. He is engaged as filer in the Ruplinger Stave & Heading Co.’s mill.

Pete Schuld went to Marshfield Friday.

Mrs. Jennie Blaisdell, who has been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Schuld, the past few weeks returned to her home near Janesville Friday. She was accompanied by her sister, Mary Schuld.

Rev. Geo. Brown attended the state convention of the Epworth League at Sparta Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

H. S. Mulvey and Frank Vettu were Marshfield visitors Saturday.

Jno. Beaver and Samual Leabel went to Athens Monday.

C. G. Stowe was down from Phillips and spent Saturday and Sunday with his family.

Chas. Taylor is home from Butternut. He got a severe cut on the side of his face and had his jaw bone fractured, caused by a binding chain breaking while loading logs on a car.

Fred Neuntz came down from Prentice and spent Saturday at home.

Mr. A.A. Graves went to Superior Tuesday to look for a filer for his mill.

Harry Merrill is home from McCord, where he has been at work in the woods.

M. Ruplinger was up from Hewitt Monday.

Mrs. Norman and children went to Stanley for a visit with her parents.
