Lulu Dresden is sick.
Andrew Short is quite sick with pneumonia.
Sam Marshall has gone to St. Paul.
There was a party at J. W. Shaffer’s Sunday evening.
Our school closes Friday. The board has decided to hire the same teacher, Clara Weisner for the spring term.
Warren Colburn went to Minneapolis last week to see his father, who was quite sick. He returned home the last of the week bringing his father with him.
There was a surprise party at the store of Ward & Grace, Thursday evening. They are such good hands at entertaining, they may expect another some day.
Will Nelson and Herman Wagner are home from camp.
Will Short of Shortville, and Nettie Counsell of Pleasant Ridge, were married Thursday. Will is a fine young man and has made a good choice.
Rev. Luther will preach in the church Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings of this week.
Ethel Johnson has gone to Neillsville to work.
A big crowd was reported at the St. Patrick’s dance.
