Moberg, Christina M. (19 March 1871 - 14 March 1950)
Funeral services for Mrs. Christian Moberg, 78, were held on Thursday, March 16, (1950), from the Grace Methodist Church in Greenwood. The Rev. Lee Holmes officiated. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Moberg died on Tuesday at the home of her son, Elery, near Neillsville as the result of a heart ailment.
Mrs. Moberg was born on March 19, 1871, in Haevo, Sweden, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Anderson. In June 1892, she came to Greenwood from Sweden and resided there since. Her husband preceded her in death in 1928.
She is survived by four sons, Arverd of East St. Louis, Ill., Harry of Abbotsford, Donald of Escanaba, Mich., Elery of Neillsville; a daughter, Mrs. Jay (Levina) Cronin of Minneapolis. Eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive as well as two sisters, Mrs. Emil (Alma) Kolstad of Greenwood and Anna of Sweden.
A son, Clarence, preceded her in death in 1945. Two other children died in infancy.
