Knudson, Beverly Mae (Marriage - 27 Dec. 1956)

Miss Beverly Mae Knudson was married to Frederick Herbert Schwierske of Mt. Horeb Thursday, Dec. 27, at 7:00 P.M. at the Perry Lutheran church, Daleyville.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Knudson of Blue Mounds was given in marriage by her father. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Fred J. Schwierske of Colby, Wis. Rev. J. O. Jorgenson officiated.

The bride wore a turquoise wool knit suit. Her corsage was of pink sweetheart roses and a white orchid. As maid of honor, Miss Inez Oimoen wore a red wool knit suit and a corsage of white carnations with red sweetheart roses.

Roy Finke was best man. Melbourne Knudson and Sylvan Johnson ushered. Vernon Anderson was soloist.

A reception was held in the church parlors.

The couple will live at 209 ½ S. Fifth St., Mt. Horeb.

Mrs. Schwierske was graduated from Wisconsin State College, Platteville, and is teaching at the Tyvand School, Blanchardville. Mr. Schwierske, a graduate of Wisconsin State College, Stevens Point, is social science instructor at Mt. Horeb High School.
