Zdun, Mayme A. (Marriage - 13 May 1950)
Mayme A. Zdun, daughter of John Zdun, Sr. of Wisconsin Rapids and formerly of the Town of Washburn, is the bride of Chester S. Czarnecki of Chicago, Illinois. The wedding took place Saturday, May 13, 1950, at St. Stanislaus B & M Church, in Chicago, the double ring ceremony being used.
The bride was given away by her father. Her attendants were Mrs. Walter Kawa, Mrs. Robert Debevec and Mrs. Joe Bielecki of Chicago, and Miss Joyce Jornick of Wisconsin Rapids.
A wedding reception for 200 guests was held at Major Hall, Chicago.
The young people took a wedding trip to Mammoth Cave, Ky., and will be at home after May 20, at 2521 N. Marmora Ave. Chicago.
The bride is a graduate of Neillsville High School, Class of 1946, and has been employed by the Nekoosa Edwards Paper Co. at Port Edwards, Wis. The groom is employed by the Universal Form Clamp Co.
Attending were John Zdun, Sr., the bride’s father, of Wisconsin Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. S. Larsen of Neillsville, and the following of Wisconsin Rapids: Mr. and Mrs. Edward Zdun and son, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Tuxhorn, Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Kautzer, Miss Beverly Person, Miss Velma Engnath and Miss Joyce Jornick; from Hancock, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Tuxhorn, Mr. and Mrs. William Knuth, Jr., and Bob Whitman; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Zdun of Hamtramck, Mich. and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Eggen of Wisconsin Rapids.
