Moore, Charles (7 February 1901 - 2 September 1970)

Charles B. Moore, 69, of Roodhouse, Ill., a former Greenwood resident, died September 2, in Jacksonville, Ill. Funeral services were held September 5, in Roodhouse, Ill. Burial was made in Bloomington, Ill.

Mr. Moore was born February 7, 1901, in Normal, Ill. He was married in 1919 in Bloomington, Ill., to Mae Reeder. The Charles Moore family lived in Greenwood in the late 30’s, for 10 years in Janesville Settlement, five miles southwest of here. Their three sons are graduates of Greenwood High School. He was a retired railroad foreman.

Survivors are his wife; three sons, George, of Oregon, Donald of Aniwa and Charles Jr., of Orland Park, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Pearl Reeder of Bloomington, Ill.

Attending the funeral from Greenwood were his brother-in-law, Floyd Clintsman, and his nephew and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clintsman.
