Kaszubowski, Ted Anthony (27 Aug. 1918 - 7 Nov. 2008)

THORP, WIS. -- Ted Anthony Kaszubowski, 90, of Thorp died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.

Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at St. Bernard - St. Hedwig's Catholic Church, Thorp. Burial followed at New St. Hedwig's Cemetery.

Visitation was from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Thorp Funeral Home with a 7:30 p.m. rosary. Visitation was also at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of the service at the church.

Ted was born Aug. 27, 1918, in the town of Taft to Alex and Irene (Cerwinski) Kaszubowski. He married Marcella Depa on Nov. 13, 1948. Together, they farmed in the town of Thorp and retired in 1982.

He is survived by his wife, Marcella, of Thorp; his children Carol Kaszubowski, Thorp, Betty (Louis Jr.) Stokosa, Lublin, Pat (Neil) Alger, Thorp, Robert (Debra) Kaszubowski, Thorp, Bonnie (Adam) Niedzwiecki, Thorp, and Linda (Mike) Jordan of Lafayette, Ind.; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He is further survived by two brothers, Stanley (Sophie) Kaszubowski, Thorp, and Alex Kaszubowski, Superior; and one sister, Irene (Buster) Heinle, Jim Falls.
