Schelling, Estella (3 July 1875 - 15 Apr. 1957)
Funeral rites have been arranged for 2:00 o’clock this Thursday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home for Mrs. Charles W. Schelling who died Monday morning at the age of 82 years at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where she had been a patient since Feb. 10. She suffered from a heart ailment. Services will be conducted by Rev. Roger B. Knutsen and burial will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers are Emil Wolk, William Sachse, Art Schmidt, Walter Mueller, Roland Roth and James Vandehey.
Mrs. Schelling was born Estella Stall on July 3, 1875, in Beomon, Iowa, where she received her education, and was married on Jan. 26, 1898, to Charles Schelling. They farmed there until 1921 when they moved onto a farm near Colby which they operated until they retired and moved to the city of Colby, Wis.
Surviving are her husband; her son, Noel Schelling of Abbotsford; three grand children; a brother, Arland Stall of Janesville.
Mrs. Schelling was well known here for her fine Christian character, her kindly and friendly disposition and one who always endeavored to perform her duties honestly and well.
