Olah, Catherine Ann (Weiler) (November 23, 1917 - November 3, 2008)

Catherine Ann Olah, 90, Colby died Monday, November 3, 2008 at the Golden Living Center-Rib Lake.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby, Wis. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. Friday November 7 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church Colby, Wis. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery Colby, Wis.

Catherine was born on November 13, 1917, to Anton and Amelia (Lavicka) Weiler in Athens.

She was united in marriage on February 3, 1940, to Michael Olah at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Athens.

Catherine was a hard working farm wife and homemaker who enjoyed gardening, sewing and traveling.

She is survived by her children, Carol (Donald) Heeren of Schofield, JoAnn Roehl of Lakeside, AZ, Beverly (Robert) Butler of Rib Lake, June (Ken) Nowlin of Lakeside, AZ, Janette (Walter) Schorer of Colby, and Tony Olah of Owen; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; 1 brother, Frank Weiler of Monello; 3 sisters, Martha (Len) Gengler of Milwaukee, Delores Henrichs of Athens, and Sister Josephine Weiler of La Crosse.

Mrs. Olah was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles (11/6/1989); one son James; one great-grandson; five brothers; and one sister.

Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements.
