The religious school began this month with the following teachers for 1970-1971: First grade, Mary Koschak; second, Donna Gosar; third, Lorraine Klapatauskas; Fourth, Mary Parkel; fifth, Eleanor Bayuk; sixth, Donna Gosar; seventh, Edward Bayuk; eighth, Susan Volovsek; ninth, Agnes Debevec; 10th, Greenie Jackson; 11th Rev. Michael Mertens; 12th, Anne Lamovec.

John Govek left Wednesday to enter River Falls University.
Mary Govek and Wanda Knudsen of Wausau spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Govek and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Knudsen.

Mr. and Mrs. Victor Halbrader and family spent Sunday at Bear Lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Dave Pozega and Lisa of St. Paul, Minn., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pozega and family.

The following from here are attending Eau Claire State University: Roberta Lesar, Ronald Volovsek, Edward Perko, Jr., and Judy Humboldt.

Mr. and Mrs. Steven Plautz and Robert helped Sharon and Donald Plautz celebrate their birthdays last Sunday at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Plautz. Sharon was seven on Sunday and Donald was 13 on Monday.

Ray Klapatauskas and a friend from Milwaukee spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Mike Klapatauskas.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Klapatauskas and Ray attended the Gardner-Malushek wedding in Thorp last Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Olson of St. Paul, Minn., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fran k Pozega, Sr., and family, and also visited relatives in Fairchild.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parkel were in Cadott and Boyd last Sunday. They visited Mr. and Mrs. Pete Celesnik and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Olson and family of Kenosha were guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pozega, Sr., and family and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Knute in Fairchild.

Joseph Stremikis left last Sunday for Eau Claire, where he is going to attend the State University. He was accompanied by his mother, Mrs. Jerome Stremikis, Sr.

Sp. 6 John Stremikis has returned to Washington, D.C. after being here to attend the wedding of his brother, Jerome Stremikis, Jr., to Patricia Ostenson.

Mr. and Mrs. James Seliskar and children of Stetsonville spent Tuesday evening with his mother, Mrs. Evelyn Seliskar and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Verhunce and children and Mr. and Mrs. John Verhunce, Jr., and children, all of Milwaukee, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs John Verhunce, Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee Meinholdt of Milwaukee spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Edward Meinholdt.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Podboy of Waukegan, Ill., spent the weekend here and their son, Scottie, went to River Falls to attend the University.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bruksch of Glen View, Ill., spent the weekend at their summer cottage here and also visited relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Toetek of Franklin Park, Ill., spent some time at the Frank Hedemark cottage.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Langreck of Spencer were weekend guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Auman, and family. They also attended the Mondloch wedding.

Miss Emily Morgal has returned to Chicago, Ill., after spending several months here with her brother and sisters.
