Haupt, Emil (25 MAY 1872 - 21 DEC 1943)
Funeral services for Emil Haupt, 71, who died suddenly at his home in the town of Beaver at 6 p.m. Dec. 21, following a heart attack, were held Friday, Dec. 24, with the Rev. J. C. Langholz, pastor of the Trinity Lutheran church, officiating. Services at the home at 1 p.m. were followed by church services at 1:30. Interment was in the Loyal cemetery.
Mr. Haupt was born in North Milwaukee on May 25, 1872, coming to Clark county abut 45 years ago and settling in Beaver. He had farmed there ever since. Ten years ago he served as president of the Lutheran congregation.
He was married to Mary Bell White near Loyal on Oct. 1, 1903. His wife preceded him in death on Aug. 14, 1914. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Mamie) Kelty, and a son, Harold Haupt, both of Loyal, route one; six grandchildren; two brothers, Louis Haupt of Wittenberg and William Haupt of West Milwaukee, and a sister, Mrs. Martha Zelmer, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Tribune adds its sympathy to that of friends and neighbors to the relatives in their bereavement.
