Bollom, Jo Ann (Marriage - 26
September 1970)
Miss Jo Ann Bollom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ellsworth
Bollom of Neillsville, was united in marriage to Larry G. Wren, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Gilbert Wren of Neillsville, Saturday at a 7 p.m. candlelight service in
the United Methodist Church in Neillsville. The Rev. William Dushek performed
the double-ring ceremony.
The bride wore a peau de soie gown with a panel
of Alencon lace down the front, with scalloped lace on the bottom and on the
train. She wore a shoulder-length veil, and carried a bouquet of orange and
white roses as she was escorted to the altar by her father.
Nancy Beyer
of Neillsville was maid-of-honor. She carried a bouquet of yellow daisies. Gale
Oldham was bestman, and Verlyn Shaw and Donald Bryan were ushers. All are from
Neillsville.
A reception was held at the Wildcat Inn.
Both bride
and groom are 1967 graduates of Neillsville High School. She has been employed
at a local bank and he returned recently from service in Vietnam. They will
leave soon for Texas, where he will be stationed.

out-of town included: Mr. and Mrs. Mike Scinto of Mountain Iron, Minn.; Mr. and
Mrs. Leonard Minelli of Virginia, Minn.; Mrs. Donald Erdmann and Jill and Julie
of Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fradette of Eau Claire; Mrs. Maude Bollom of
Altoona; Elmer Wren, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Cardarella, Judy Wren and Fred Schmidt,
all of West Bend; Mr. and Mrs. Jon Karnitz of Wisconsin Rapids; and Nina Rush of
Merrillan.
