Olsen, Ida (13 DEC 1947)
Saturday morning at 11 o’clock, Ida Elizabeth Olsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Olsen, was married to Harvey Hamilton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Hamilton, Memphis, Tenn., the Rev. Bundgaard officiating.
The bride wore a dark blue suit and carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums. Her only attendant was her sister Ellen, who wore a gray suit and carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums. The best man was Kenneth Bluemer of Chicago, a good friend of the groom from the war time. Both wore brown business suits.
The church was decorated with ferns and evergreens. Louise Hansen played the wedding march. After the wedding, dinner was served at the bride’s home for 16 relatives and friends. Immediately after the couple left for Memphis, Tenn., where they will make their future home.
