Colby, Wis. - Aug. 8, 1957

Jack Leonhardt is receiving medical treatments at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Howard Barr at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital, August 6.

Lee Brunker returned from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where he had his appendix removed.

Mr. and Mrs. Claude Sossaman, and family returned home Monday after spending a weeks vacation in Northern Wisconsin.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Lorris Johnson at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital July 31.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Leu and family visited at the Herman Schwantes home over the weekend.

Miss Mabel Neumeister and Mrs. Adeline Imhuff spent several days last week at St. Paul, Minn., and Rochester, Minn.

A son was born August 4 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, to Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Oehmichen of Colby, Route 1.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Boucher of Colby, Route 1, at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital August 6.

Frank Sill, a former Colbyite is at the Havenet Home at Owen, after undergoing surgery at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.

Mrs. Jack Nadolny and children of Milwaukee visited last week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Steinwand.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kademan and family of Long Beach, Calif., are visiting the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Kademan.

Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Arends of Colo. Springs, Colo., are spending 10 days with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Arends.

Mr. and Mrs. John Engeldinger returned home after spending three weeks in Milwaukee with their son, Kenneth, and daughter, Norma.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Flick and daughter, Priscilla, spent several days last week at Kiel, New Holstein, Elkhart Lake and Newton visiting friends and relatives.

Mrs. Lena Eder returned to the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Eder, after spending several months with her daughters in southern Wisconsin.

Fred Timm spent several days in Milwaukee with his daughter. On his return, he was accompanied by Vergene who is spending three weeks at their home on Route 1, Colby, Wis.
