Nicks, Wava Blanche (Marriage - 29 May 1934)

Miss Wava Blanche Nicks, daughter of Mrs. Grace Nicks, Owen and Mr. Charles Julius Telin, son of Solon Telin of Owen, were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s mother, Wednesday morning, May 29, by Rev. Hartman of Colby, Wis.

The bride was attended by Mrs. Elenora Nicks as matron of honor, and Miss Blanche Beaver of What Cheer, Iowa, as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Mr. Walter Nicks and Mr. John Telin of What Cheer, Iowa.

The bride’s dress was of rose crepe with white accessories, while the matron of honor had a dress of blue organdy and the bridesmaid a blue crepe dress with white accessories.

Following the ceremony, a dinner was served for twenty-eight guests. In the evening a wedding dance was given at Hinke’s hall. Mr. and Mrs. Telin will live on a farm near Curtiss.
