Ammentorp, Amy L. (Marriage - 1950)
Owen is the new home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Mauel, Jr., following their honeymoon to Yellowstone National Park. The bride is the former Amy L. Ammentorp, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ammentorp of Withee, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Mauel of Owen.
The wedding occurred at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen. Bridal attendants were Mrs. Ruth Wolfram of Vallejo, Cal., a sister of the bride as matron of honor, and Mrs. Irene Lehnen, the groom’s sister, and Mrs. Imogene Mertens, as bridesmaids. The groom’s attendants were Luke Kloke of Campbellsport, as best man, and Edward Lehnen and Eldon Catura, both of Owen, as groomsmen. Peter McMillan and John Cattanach of Owen were ushers.
Mrs. Mauel is a graduate of Withee High School and the Eau Clarie Business College. Her husband is a veteran of 18 months service in the army and is a graduate of a dairy course at the University of Wisconsin.
