Hendrickson, Mathilda (20 September 1865 - 8 June 1950)
Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda Hendrickson, 84, were held on Saturday from the funeral home in Greenwood with interment in the United Lutheran cemetery. The Rev. Theodore Nelson officiated. She died on Wednesday at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital.
Mrs. Hendrickson, nee Larson, was born September 20, 1865, in Black River Falls. She married Michael Hendrickson in Greenwood on October 14, 1883. They resided on a farm near Greenwood until his death in 1937. Since that time she lived in the city of Greenwood.
Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Sidney (Mila) Heldrick and Mrs. Olaf (Mabel) Johnson of Greenwood, Mrs. Lee (Mathilda) Appleford of Asotin, Wash., Mrs. Ollie Johnson of Wausau, Mrs. Joe (Lillian) Conrad of Chicago, and two sons, Alfred of Asotin, Wash., and Clarence of Marshfield. Thirty grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Charles Rossow of Granton, and another sister and three brothers also survive.
