Peters, Don E. (News - 1950)
Local Jottings - Don E. Peters, superintendent of schools at Neillsville, spent the past weekend at Moose Lake, east of Hayward. He is one of 10 school men who meet there each year for an outing. They talk shop and catch fish, or try to. Mr. Peters tells that they had best luck in the year when they had a dumb guide, meaning a guide who could not talk. The other times they had dumb guides, meaning that they did not know where the fish were. Mr. Peters was due back Wednesday.
