Peterson, Ruby (6 JUN 1948)
A lovely June wedding ceremony was solemnized in the garden of the Jorgen Peterson home at Askov, Minn. At three-thirty Sunday afternoon, June 6th, 1948, when Ruby Peterson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jorgen Peterson of Askov became the bride of Clifford J. Andreasen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl J. Andreasen of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.). The Rev. H. Petersen of Askov performed the ceremony.
The bride was attractively attired in a floor length gown of light blue net with a fingertip veil and carried a beautiful bouquet of calla lilies. Her bridesmaid was Inger Andreasen, sister of the groom, who wore a floor length gown of blue eyelet.
Norman Andreasen, a brother of the groom, attended the bridegroom as best man.
Following the ceremony a reception was enjoyed in the garden at the home of the bride’s parents.
Both of the young people had been residing in Minneapolis and that is where they will make their future home, as Mr. Andreasen owns and operates a filling station in that city.
Among the guests attending the ceremony were: the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Andreasen and Norman Andreasen of Withee; Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Miller of Owen; and Miss Charlotte Buchanan, Esther Andreasen and Don Asterby of Wausau.
