Wilbert, Bertha (9 Feb. 1871 - 4 Sept. 1957)
Services were held at Abbotsford Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock at Christ Lutheran for Mrs. Bertha Wilbert of Abbotsford, Wisconsin, age 86, who died Wednesday, Sept. 4, at the Havenet Nursing Home at Owen after a heart attack. Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated at the final rites and burial was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilbert was born on February 9, 1871, in Cedarburg and was married to Peter Wilbert on December 26, 1891, at Dorchester, Wis. A resident of Abbotsford for the past 38 years, she was a member of the Lutheran church and its Ladies’ Aid.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Otto (Nora) Stock of Loyal and Mrs. Arthur (Frieda) Edblom of Unity, two grand children and 10 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband, and an infant son, three brothers and one grandson.
