Kindt, Darlene Marvel (Marriage - 1950)
Miss Darlene Marvel Kindt, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kindt of Greenwood, is the bride of Gordon Gehrt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Gehrt of Greenwood. The wedding occurred at the United Lutheran Church in Greenwood.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore a white marquisette gown over satin, styled with panels of lace ruffles in front that extended into a long train. Her long lace-edged veil was attached to a crown embroidered with pearls. Her bridal bouquet consisted of red roses surrounded with white roses, lilies of the valley and white carnations.
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Kindt, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, Miss Elva Brecke of Stetsonville, Harry Meinhart, and Otto Kindt, Jr., another brother of the bride, Karen Kay Rasmussen, as flower girl, and Dannie Kindt, as ring-bearer.
The bride is a graduate of the Greenwood High School and the groom graduated from the Neillsville High School.
The newlyweds are making their home on a farm near Greenwood.
