Duvall, Allen H. (29 MAR 1944 - 7 SEP 2013)
Allen H. Duvall, age 69, of Colby, died on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at
Pine Ridge Assisted Living in Colby. A Celebration of Life was held at 11:30
a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2013, at First United Church of Christ in Colby.

ALLEN H. DUVALL, age 69, of Colby, died
on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Pine Ridge Assisted Living in Colby. A
Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30am on Monday, September 9, 2013 at the
First United Church of Christ in Colby, with visitation from 10am until time of
service.
Allen Hugh Duvall was born on March 29, 1944, in the Town of
Hull, rural Colby, the son of Melvin Claude and Madelyn Dorothy Louise (Witte)
Duvall. Allen was raised on the family farm and received his education in the
Colby area, graduating from Colby High School in 1963.
He was united in
marriage to Carol Rae Edblom. He was a dairy farmer all of his life, and also
drove semi-truck, did concrete construction and built barns.
He was a
member of First United Church of Christ, in Colby, and had many interests, but
especially enjoyed trout stream fishing, deer hunting and playing cards.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Carol, of Colby; his daughter: Tammy
(Tom) Kirsch and their children, Tyler and Taylor, of Edgar; his son: Tim
(Michelle Houle) Duvall and their children, Nicole and Colten, of Colby; one
brother: Lyle (Beverly) Duvall of Colby; one sister: Janalee (Franklin)
Gustafson, of Colby; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was
preceded by his parents.
