The
J.S. School closed Tuesday with a picnic. Miss Morgan has been rehired for the
coming term.
Cletus Susa and Harold Dillenbeck attended the Neillsville
High School Prom as guests of Marjorie Flagg and Bernice Turner.
Russell
Hatton is visiting with his brothers Evan and Clark Hatton, while his mother is
in Janesville.
Geo. Bogovich is a patient at the hospital in Marshfield.
He had an operation on his throat last week.
Mrs. S.B. Flagg spent
Saturday p.m. with Mrs. Chas. Bostwick.
The Parent Teachers meeting at
the J.S. School last Thursday evening was well attended and a very interesting
evening was spent. Mr. Landry showed moving pictures and explained some
questions on the Soil Conservation. Games were played and a bountiful lunch
finished the evening.
Some of the J.S. farmers are replanting their oat
crop.
All the young folks from here attending the Greenwood High School,
attended the Prom Friday evening.
Miss Sophie Gosar closed the W.E.
School with a picnic Sunday. A large crowd attended.
Kenneth Gemmeke
spent Saturday in Greenwood with his grandmother, Mrs. H. Bostwick.
Eva
Hatton spent Sunday with Bethel Asplin in Christie.
Louis Arch and son
Frank were Neillsville visitors Saturday.
