The 4-H meeting at the Weidman home Thursday evening. Parents and prospective members are urged to attend.

The Hemlock school picnic was held at the schoolhouse Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Langreck and family, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Letsch and family of Neillsville were Sunday guests at the Ferd Langreck home.

Mr. and Mrs. J. Speich called on Chas. Ludwig Saturday evening.

Kenneth Speich, Robert, Lavern, Gerald and Vincent Braun spent Sunday afternoon with John D. and Bobby Speich.

Helen and Frieda Hemmersbach and Lucille Olson spent Sunday afternoon with Dolores Herr.

Mr. and Mrs. Otis Stowe and sons were Sunday supper guests at the Herr home.

Margaret Einfeldt spent the weekend with Shirley Braun.

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Klinke and Al, Lorraine and Lucille, and Casper Lindner were Chippewa Falls callers Sunday.

Jean and Alberta Klinke spent Sunday at the home of their aunt, Mrs. Casper Lindner.

Mr. and Mrs. A.P. Flikke and Bernice attended Rural Commencement day program at Neillsville on Saturday.

Marjorie Durst spent the weekend in Neillsville and attended Commencement exercises.

Edith and Irma Rice are home from their year's teaching work near Plainfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Durst and family called at the A.W. Biel and Herman Montag homes in Chili Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Behrens, Mrs. Charlotte Haglund and Mrs. Elmer Haglund called at the Alex Behrens home Monday evening.

Mrs. Louis Rosemand of Loyal spent the weekend at the Alex Behrens home.

Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Metcalf, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Metcalf and family, Mr. and Mrs. A. Steele, Mr. and Mrs. P. Steele and family called at the John Longridge home Sunday p.m.
