Fifty relatives and friends helped Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Toburen celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary, Friday, June 3rd.
The
tables were decorated with snowballs, lilies of the valley and a wedding cake.
Mr. and Mrs. Toburen received many beautiful gifts and a purse of money.
They were married June 3, 1908 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gueltzow, a
sister of Mrs. Toburen, in Buffalo County. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Gueltzow and one of
the couple who attended them, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Florian were also able to be
here.
Mr. and Mrs. Toburen resided at Wausau for a few months and in the
fall of 1908 came to Greenwood to the farm they still occupy, which is 6 miles
nowthwest of Greenwood in the town of Mead. They have two sons and two
daughters, Ruth of Chicago, Irvin, Delmar and Delores at home.

Lafe Galland, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Reineking, son Norman, and daughters Eldora and
Elvera, Henry Beglinger, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Liebzeit, sons Clarence, Norman and
Arvin, John Cohara, Mrs. Norbert Kuester and daughter Violet, Mr. and Mrs.
Albert Fravert and daughter LaVerne, Rev. and Mrs.
