Charles Schulz moved to West Allis.
A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Zuber at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital October 18.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Schauss attended the funeral of Edwin Nixdorf at Stetsonville Monday.
Dennis Cook has his right arm in a sling due to a dislocated elbow he suffered Friday while playing football.
Mr. and Mrs. Willard Bragg of Abbotsford visited at the Wallace Sossaman home Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scholl, Sr., of Medford visited Thursday morning at the W. Sossaman home while enroute to California.
Mr. and Mrs. N. L. Dessloch spent the week-end at Prairie du Chien with the former’s brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Eli Dessloch.
Mr. and Mrs. Albin Anderson, Mrs. Max Krueger and Mr. and Mrs. August Spann spent the past week-end with relatives in Chicago, Ill.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sachse were guests at the Ted Frome home Sunday evening, Oct. 13 and Mrs. Aloysius Beyerl and family were Sunday evening visitors at the Frome home.
Mr. and Mrs. Brice Bender and Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Ven Rooy attended funeral services for Louis H. Bohman at Stratford Friday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Miles Adrian of Fond du Lac and Mrs. Anna Rouse of Stevens Point, were recent guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Eder.
A daughter was born Saturday morning, Oct. 19, to Mr. and Mrs. James Blanchard of Milwaukee, former Colby people. Mrs. Blanchard is the former Lea Weddig.
Mrs. Elsie Hauser, Arvin Stock and Mrs. John Marks spent the week-end with the former’s sister, Mrs. Ethel Woods, who is making her home at Escanaba, Mich., with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Arendts.
Sister M. Emmerika, superintendent of the obstetrical department at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, was the guest speaker at the monthly meeting of the Christian Home and School Association last week Wednesday evening at St. Mary’s gym. Recordings prepared by the Christopher Movement supplemented her talk entitled "Training for Chastity." A large crowd was in attendance.
