Young, Adelbert (13 Aug. 1892 - 19 Oct. 1957)
Adelbert Young of Menasha, a native of Colby, Wis. and a former teacher at Menasha High School and St. Mary’s High School at Menasha, died at Theda Clark Hospital (Neenah, Wis.) Saturday evening, Oct. 19, at the age of 65, after several years of poor health. Funeral services were held October 22 and burial was made in St. Mary’s cemetery, Menasha.
He was born August 13, 1892, at Colby and moved to Menasha in 1945 from Stevens Point. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Science degree, he was a member of the Third Order of St. Francis of St. Mary’s church, and a veteran of World War I.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Otto J. Korth of Neenah; three sons, James D. of DePere, Paul R. of Appleton and Raymond W. of Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Frank Peterson of Milan, Wash., and four grand children. Two sisters, Mrs. Charles Schultz and Mrs. John Grimes, preceded him in death.
