Pischer, Amelia (13 February 1872 - 5 July 1950)
Mrs. Amelia Pischer, 78, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edna Larson, 10816 S. Hale Avenue, Chicago, on July 5, 1950.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 8, from the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Rev. Carl L. Abel officiating. Burial was made in Mt. Greenwood Cemetery.
Amelia Lautenbach Pischer was born February 13, 1872, in the Town of Grant. She was married to Henry Pischer in 1891. They lived in the Town of Grant 22 years, later moving to Neillsville. The past 24 years were spent in Chicago with her daughters.
She is survived by her eleven children - Oswald, Granton; Harold, Neillsville; Alvin, Wisconsin Rapids; Alma, Mrs. Will Hrabik, Chicago; Clara, Mrs. Clarence Batchel, Milwaukee; Reuben, Portland, Ore.; Elsie, Mrs. Frank Pinwell, Chicago; Hilda, Mrs. Francis Woodward, Oshkosh; Dan, Iron River, Wis.; Edna, Mrs. Ed Larson, Chicago; Eda, Mrs. Herbert Siegert, Chicago; 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
All of Mrs. Pischer’s children attended her funeral on Saturday.
