Waite, Janet (Marriage - 1950)
Hixton will be the home of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Drake, newlyweds after August. Mr. Drake will be an instructor in the high school there. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Drake of Neillsville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. (unreadable) Waite of Three Lakes.
The wedding occurred at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, Three Lakes, with an altar decorated with white peonies as a setting. Attending the couple were Mrs. Samuel (unreadable), a sister of the bride and (unreadable) Waite, a brother of the bride.
The wedding trip included points of interest in northeast Michigan.
The groom served in Europe during the last war. The past year (balance of write-up was missing).
