Finkle, Mary Ann (11 FEB 1860
- 25 MAR 1933)
Mary Ann Elliott Finkle was born Feb. 11, 1860 at
Darisburg, Mich., where she lived until her marriage to George Finkle May 12,
1886. For a short time after their marriage they lived at Dodge City, Kansas,
coming to Wisconsin. In 1893, settling on a farm south of Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.) until 1919, when she came to Greenwood and resided here until her death
March 25th, 1933.
To this union were born four sons, Charles of Everett,
Ohio; Edwin of Greenwood; Henry of Oak Park, Ill., and Harvey of Milwaukee.
Mr. Finkle passed away June 22, 1931.
Mrs. Finkle is survived by her
four sons, seven grandchildren, one sister and one half-brother, and a host of
friends.
She was a loving mother, good neighbor and kind friend, and
loved by all who knew her.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon
from the local M.E. Church, Rev. R.H. Maddock officiating. Interment was in the
Greenwood Cemetery.
