Miss Marion Mae Mattes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mattes, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), was married Saturday to George Autio, son of Mrs. George Autio, Harrison, Maine. The Rev Bundgaard officiated at the ceremony, which took place at the home of the bride’s parents.

After a wedding trip the couple will live at Harrison, Maine, where the groom is attending Bridgton Academy. He is a graduate of Owen High School. The bride was graduated from Thorp High School.

Miss Loretta Smegowski, Thorp, was maid of honor in an aqua suit complemented with black accessories. Her corsage was of sweetheart roses.

The bride wore a toast colored suit. Her accessories were bronze and she wore a yellow orchid corsage.

Clarence Mattes, Thorp, brother of the bride, acted as best man.

Following the wedding a dinner was held at the Sky Club.
