Now enjoying a honeymoon through the Black Hills of South Dakota are Mr. and Mrs. Richard Peterson who were united in a church ceremony read by the Rev. L. C. Bundgaard at the Danish Lutheran Church, Withee, Sunday, Oct. 10, 1948.
The bride, Roma Andreasen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Andreasen, Withee, was given in marriage by her father, wearing a bridal gown of white satin with a fingertip veil and matching headdress and carrying a bouquet of white gladiolas. Attending her as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Don Osterby, Wausau. She wore an aqua colored gown and carried a bouquet of pink gladiolas.
Attending the bridegroom as best man was Mr. Don Osterby, Wausau.
Following the four o’clock ceremony the couple enjoyed a reception given for their guests at the home of the bride’s parents. After their return from their honeymoon they will make their home in Minneapolis.
Guests from out of town at the ceremony were: Mr. and Mrs. Jack Mikkelsen of Chicago, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Holgar Hansen and son Danny and Bill, Mr. and Mrs. Hjarne Bundgaard, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Andreasen, Misses Inger and Carma Andreasen, Donald Hansen, Mrs. Ernest Jacobsen, Mrs. Roy Young, Mr. and Mrs. John Schwartz, Nils Bengsten, Donald Jacobsen and Mr. and Mrs. Schimming, all of Minneapolis, Minn.
