Tessmer, Louise (Marriage - 12 Sept. 1934)
Miss Louise Tessmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Tessmer, township of Colby and Harry Thieme, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thieme of Curtiss were united in marriage at the bride’s home Wednesday afternoon September 12, 1934, Rev. Goetsch reading the marriage services. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Esther Tessmer as maid of honor and Miss Florence Singstock, a cousin, as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother Franklin Thieme and Arnold Stephens.
The bride was attired in a dark, brown crepe dress, brown hat and accessories, while her attendants were attired in dark green crepe dresses, green hats and accessories. The bride wore a shoulder bouquet of Baby breath and asters and the attendants had shoulder bouquets of sweet peas and roses.
A wedding surprise was served to immediate relatives and a wedding dance was held at Wiedenhoeft park.
