Zulke, Arlene (Marriage - 22 Sept. 1934)
Wednesday afternoon, September 22, 1934, at three o’clock, a pretty wedding took place at the St. Paul Lutheran parsonage at Green Grove. Miss Arlene Zulke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto E. Zulke of Colby and Mr. Walter Glenzer, son of Mrs. Emma Glenzer, were united in marriage by the Rev. M. C. Goetsch.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Lorraine Zulke and the groom was attended by his brother Ronald Glenzer.
The bride was attired in a green crepe dress with brown hat and accessories, and wore a shoulder bouquet of roses and sweetpeas. Her attendant was attired in a brown crepe dress with accessories to match and wore a shoulder bouquet of roses and baby’s breath.
A wedding supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents, with covers laid for about 40 guests. In the evening a wedding dance was enjoyed at Reel’s pavilion.
