Rites Held for Former Abbotsford Resident
A requiem high mass was sung at St. Mary’s Catholic church at Neillsville last Thursday morning for George Le Claire, age 75, who died November 16 at Miami Beach, Florida.
Mr. Le Claire was a former resident of Abbotsford, Wis. He was employed at the Beil Mercantile Company for a time, operated a grocery store at Rib Lake and worked at Dorchester for a while.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Laura (Wilma) Thompson of Minneapolis and Mrs. W. C. (Audrey) Wojta of Fond du Lac; two sisters, Miss Lelah Le Claire of Evanston, Ill., and Mrs. W. C. (Olive) Lord of Cornell; two brothers, Art of Wautoma and Wilfred of Seattle, Wash.
Attending the funeral of their uncle were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kramer and Mrs. Walter Hopperdiebzel of Abbotsford, Wis.
