Doernenburg, Fred (15 June 1884 - 4 Oct. 1934)

Fred Doernenburg, of Antigo, who was born in Abbotsford, June 15, 1884, died at the Memorial hospital at Antigo, Oct. 4. Funeral services were held at the Fuchsgruber funeral home at Dorchester Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock with the Rev. L. C. Smith of Abbotsford officiating. Internment was made at the Memorial cemetery.

Mr. Doernenburg lived in Abbotsford for about 20 years. He was married Sept. 16, 1908 to Miss Louise Hagen, Dorchester, and the couple made their home there for about 14 years.

Mr. Doernenburg is survived by two children, Lloyd and Kenneth, both of Antigo and one sister, Mrs. J. B. Thompson of Abbotsford, Wis.

Those from here who attended the funeral were the late Mr. Doernenburg’s sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Treat, Mrs. Charles Hoffman, Mrs. Thomas Gibson, Mrs. Louis Luhrsen, Mrs. George Stump, Mrs. Harry Demand, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Olson and Miss Dolly Prosser.
